Iblogtren News - Xiaomi rolled out MIUI 11 update for Redmi 8. The update with MIUI version number V11.0.1.0.PCNMIXM was distributed by Xiaomi in several regions.
MIUI Update 11 Redmi 8 has a file capacity of 681 MB.
Not so big, because for Redmi 8 devices it still uses the Android 9 Pie OS base. Unlike the high-end devices they are ready with the latest OS, Android 10.
Screenshoot of MIUI UPDATE 11:
MIUI 11 for Xiaomi Redmi 8 devices has actually entered the beta stage since last month. But for the stable global version, Xiaomi just started releasing it this December.
Improved MIUI 11 Features on Redmi 8
The improvements in the MIUI 11 update for Redmi 8 include optimizing fullscreen display, adding natural sounds to the audio sample, preview feature before opening the document, and also some additional menus for setting the lock screen.
In addition, Xiaomi also added several features to Game Booster, including turning off Auto Brightness, so users can play games without being interrupted by changing screen brightness.
There is also an Auto Switch Data feature that allows users to activate the connection transfer from WiFi to cellular data when playing games if the connection is weak.
Redmi 8 itself was launched in Indonesia on 4 December. Along with a more affordable version of the Redmi 8A, this smartphone has superior specifications including a 6.22 inch HD + screen, Snapdragon 439 processor, 3GB / 4GB RAM, 32GB / 64GB storage memory and a 5000mAh battery.
It seems that for now, MIUI 11 update is not yet available in Indonesia. But Xiaomi promises an update will be present when the device goes on sale in the country. Of course we are still waiting for the OS update, before the inaugural sale on 12 December 2019.
