5 Most Anticipated Movies in December 2021, from Spiderman No Way Home to Matrix 4 - Towards the end of December 2021, some of the most awaited films are ready to greet you this year-end holiday.
Even though it's still in the Covid-19 pandemic situation, you can still watch a number of big films in December in theaters with several policies that have been set by the government.
As is known, one of the most anticipated films worldwide this December is the trilogy of Spiderman No Way Home.Not only Spiderman No Way Home, you can also watch several other big films this year-end holiday.
Here's a list of the five most-anticipated films to release this holiday season.
- Spiderman No Way Home
The film, starring Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker, will return to greet you on December 15, 2021.
The film picks up to the point where Spiderman's identity is revealed, and his superhero responsibilities conflict with his normal life as Peter Parker.
Peter then turns to Doctor Strange for help recovering his secret identity, but his magical spell unlocks the multiverse, unleashing a super villain who has never fought Spiderman before.
2. The Matrix 4
Action Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss will reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity in "The Matrix Resurrections" which is the long-awaited fourth film in the franchise.
The new film, which will premiere on December 22, 2021, follows Neo as he is resurrected into the Matrix, a simulation of human life created by machines.
3. The King's Man
The film The King's Man will also be released in theaters on December 22, 2021. The story will revolve around the origins of the first Kingsman secret service organization, led by the Duke of Oxford (Ralph Fiennes), the secret agents are on a mission to save the world from evil, the mastermind who plots a war to exterminate millions of people.
4. Sing 2
Sing 2 has finally released its second sequel after five years of waiting, and will be releasing on December 22 in the US.
The story will see Buster Moon putting on his new show at the New Moon Theater starring Meena, Gunter, Rosita and Johnny. However, things did not go as smoothly as he had hoped.
Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Nick Kroll, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly, Nick Offerman, and director Garth Jennings have reprized their roles from the first film and there will be several new characters in the sequel.
Joining the cast of Sing 2 are Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Pharrell Williams, Letitia Wright, Eric André, Chelsea Peretti, and Bono.
5. Don't Look Up
Don't Look Up is an American satirical sci-fi comedy film, set to premiere on December 10, 2021, and will premiere on Netflix on Christmas Eve 2021.
It stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence as two rookie astronauts who do their best to warn humanity about a deadly comet headed for Earth.
DiCaprio and Lawrence aren't the only big names to appear in the film. They will be joined by a host of Hollywood stars including Rob Morgan, Jonah Hill, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Ron Perlman, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Scott Mecudi, Cate Blanchett and Meryl Streep.
